Therapeutic Strategy
Having had the opportunity to attend a course in South East Asia, where the benfits of massage and its value in the healing process are widely accepted and understood, Nancy has used the multi-therapeutic approach in the UK, with a high success rate on both adults and children, for the relief of many types of pain. Massage and pressure point treatment is highly successful in the relief of muscle spasm, increasing circulation and speeding up the healing process. It is also effective with elderly patients following surgery, encouraging muscle building and toning, thereby improving mobility
How It Works
It consists of massage and pressure point stimulation on areas of the neck, shoulders and back, including inter-cranial and temporal lobe release, which revitalises the entire body making you feel relaxed in a matter of minutes. Pressure point treatment is particularly effective in children and young adults suffering from stress related problems such as pre/post exam nerves, smoking and drug/solvent abuse.
Acupuncture & Electro Stimulation
These treatments are also part of the service and are proving successful in a wide variety of complaints ie. pain, stress, addiction, smoking, weight, migraine, insomnia, PMT, menopause, sinusitis, ME, MS and stokes. Each patient is unique and so the most appropriate therapy or combination is selected in order to achieve a solution.
Organisational Strategy
The service protocol estimates that each patient episode for a complex problem will require the following:
An initial assessment plus treatment
3-5 further treatments dependent on the medical condition
A single follow-up appointment approximately 3 months after completion
The initial counselling based assesssment with treatment will be approximately for one hour, subsequent visits 45 minutes at £36 per session. We also welcome referrals from GP's, Hospital Consultants and any other agencies and of course patients can refer themselves directly to us.
